The Gundiah-Mackay Alien Abduction
On October 4, 2001, Thursday, an unusual abduction story took place in Gundiah. It is an alien abduction. Involved in the incident were spouses Amy and Keith Rylance, and their friend Petra Heller.
Here is the summary of the Gundiah-Mackay alien incident:
In the Rylance caravan, Keith went to the bedroom to sleep at around 9 pm. Petra was in the caravan annex, while Amy was in the lounge room of the annex where she was watching television but eventually fell asleep.
Petra woke up at around 11 pm, she entered the lounge room and surprised to see a beam of light “carrying” the sleeping Amy being taken outside through the window. Petra saw the light beam was from an Unidentified Flying Object hovering a few meters from the caravan. Her screams woke Keith up, and he immediately went to the lounge room where he found Petra and saw the torn window. Petra recalled what happened.
They called the police and reported an alien abduction, but of course the police were skeptic at first. But they found a noticeable burn on the nearby bush and meadow. While the police is at their place, investigating, someone reported an incident of finding a woman in Mackay, some 790 kilometers away from the abduction scene – and the woman was Amy Rylance. Amy has bruises on her inner thighs and abnormal hair growth when she was found.
The only account she remembered was she was in a room, lying in a bench. Lights came from both the walls and the ceiling. She tried to call for help and a tall ‘person’ told her to calm down. The person also told her that nothing is there to be worried about and that they will leave her in a nearby location, but not exactly where they got her.
