Dark energy makes up more than two-thirds of our universe, but we have no way to look at it directly. So how can we study it if we can’t even see it? In this clip from the 2015 World Science Festival program “To Infinity and Beyond: The Accelerating Universe,” Joshua Frieman, a cosmologist and the director of the Dark Energy Survey, talks about how his group is working to untangle this mystery.
