It is not our desire to scare anyone into mass hysteria be we do wish to educate our visitors on serious potential dangers, be it from this world or another, natural or otherwise. The Weather Channel. The New Yorker. Fox News. Three very reputable sources are all reporting on the potential and pending catastrophic event that will basically wipe out the entire pacific north west. And earthquake followed by a 100 foot tsunami that is long overdo. The Big One is very real but it is not going to hit California as the majority of the population believe.
Michio Kaku, a physicist and professor at City College of New York, in an interview with Fox News, said that the danger is very real. “The Cascadia fault is an earthquake waiting to happen,” Kaku said. “We know it’s going to happen with an energy 30 time the maximum energy of the San Andreas fault.” He also stated that before the mega-quake actually hits, there would be a “compression wave” that is detected by animals. “Animals start to act very strange. We’ve seen that happen before earthquakes,” Kaku said. “And then, a minute, two minutes later, boom!””
