Nine News Flash Death of Diana
Nine News Australia Newsflash announcing the death of Diana, Princess of Wales. Video shows breaking into normal programming with opener and full report until normal program resumes. Shortly after this normal programming was abandoned. There had been a number of newsflashes during the day bout the condition of Diana but this was the first to announce her death.
Also show how overseas news channels were using “breaking news” descriptor, a trend that had not caught on in Australia at that stage. Anchor is Tracy Grimshaw with Daniel Byde in London
