It was March 13, 1997 when the town of Phoenix, Arizona was bombarded by a mass UFO sighting that went on to become one of the most infamous and widely debated cases in the world. At around 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm, thousands of people in the area noticed five lights travelling slowly in a V- formation from Phoenix to the edge of Tucson. And after it caused a worldwide scale of attention and tons of questions whether an advanced alien race just visited us or not, the military released a statement saying that the lights were flares attached on a string. It was an explanation that wasn’t received well by many, especially the witnesses who saw the alleged craft nearby. But now, almost decades later, it looks like history has finally repeated itself because the town of Phoenix, Arizona was once again invaded by mysterious lights that greatly resembled that 1997 incident.

On October 25, between 6:00 to 6:45 pm, tons of reports from various residents in different areas in Phoenix reported seeing a group of strange lights travelling in formation across East Valley. One particular video which was taken in Gilbert, Phoenix showed three balls of lights heading north. The video quickly blew up and even reached the busy world of the Twitterverse.

One user with the name of Tyler Reese tweeted that he just saw a UFO, it was then followed by a series of other tweets from different users around the area asking and demanding to know the answers as to what was going on. Lots of suggestions were raised as to what the lights were. From airplanes being diverted to other airports to Chinese lanterns and even jets, but none of them would quite fit the way the lights reacted. An eyewitness mentioned that the behavior of the lights is considerably weird because the one that is on the extreme right part would spin, disappear and then appear on the left side, the process then continued on to a point that the lights looked like they were travelling across the sky. This description greatly fits the behavior of the original Phoenix lights back in 1997.

Various military bases and air force installations already denied that the lights came from them. And because of that, this new incident just seemed even more mysterious than the infamous original Phoenix Lights.
