Diana Conspiracy Part 3 of 4 – Piers Morgan comments on the Fiat Uno

2003 Documentary by author of the acclaimed book: “Diana: the Last Days”, Martyn Gregory examines in detail the allegations made that she died in a plot. Shortly after this film was made, the Coroner leading the inquests in Diana and Dodi’s deaths decided to call in the police to investigate the allegations. Gregory’s position turned out to be entirely vindicated three years and £3.69 million later. Refusing to give up despite this drubbing, a lengthy inquest was held in 2007 and 2008 before a Jury which returned a verdict that similarly agreed: Diana’s death was nothing more than a tragic accident and the allegations of foul play were entirely without evidence.

This part analyses the allegations about the Fiat Uno, with interviews again with Commander Mules and Dr Murray MacKay of the Transport Research Laboratory who completely demolishes the notion the Fiat had been used to deliberately cause the crash.

The length of time it took to get Diana to the hospital after the crash is examined and it’s obvious that a simple difference in medical policy between France and England explains why it took it, on the face of it, a long time to get her to hospital. The President of the French Ambulance Service, the SAMU, explains the treatment Diana received would not have been considered at all out of the ordinary in France.

The claim that the crash scene was cleared away too quickly is explained by Commander Mules, the man who made the decision, explains his rational. Dr Murray MacKay then vindicates the decision on the basis nothing of any evidential value could be gained from keeping the tunnel closed.

The clip finishes by addressing Mr Fayed’s claim he saw Diana’s body at the hospital. Commander Mules states that security around her body was so tight, even he had to show his ID to several people before getting to it. The balance of probabiloities is strong tipped against Mr Fayed’s claim.
