Carnac
Carnac is famous for presence of the largest concentration of megaliths in the world
megaliths are arranged in arrays that date back to the Neolithic
They were, in fact, built between the fifth and the third millennium BC
alignments extend along the road for about 4.5 km all arranged parallel to sea
and reasons for such alignments are still unknown
alignments Menec and Kermario each consist of more than 1000 stones in 10 -11 files
while alignment Kerlescan is constituted by more than 500 menhirs in 13 files
