Area 51 – 1994 (B-Roll) (EXTREMELY RARE)
There are very few videos shots of Area 51 that exist from Freedom Ridge. Only a 12 mile throw, you were much closer to the base than White Sides Mountain or Tikaboo Peak. I used to have to hide my video cameras in backpacks with just the lens sticking out so that the guards could not see that I was shooting video of the secret base. They guards would watch us across the way from these huge Russian Binoculars that were on a tripod. If they saw that you had any type of camera they would call the sheriff and have your cameras or films confiscated. We ran scanners and would be tapped into the security guards frequencies before they were encrypted. We also monitored the Lincoln County Sheriff so if they called him we would hike down the hill and be out of there before getting caught.
