7 mysteries of the ocean – 70% of all surfaces on Earth remain below the water. And of all that, 95% of it is still unexplored to this day – in regards to observation by the human eye. The fact is that more humans have actually walked on the moon than on the deepest depths of the ocean floor.
There is a saying that scientists know more about the surface of Mars than they know about the ocean floor. However, scientists do have the ability to map the entire floor of the oceans and they have. The only problem is that resolutions at those depths are extremely poor, and they are able to only see features that are larger than 3 miles.
Thus, the oceans are still full of mysteries like the 7 mysteries of the ocean that are being featured in this video. Of the seven, five of them are living creatures that we know very little about and the remaining two are unexplained phenomena which are still awaiting explanation.
While many of us looking into the sky and heavens for new worlds, we often forget that there is an amazing unexplored world that is much closer to home, and lies beneath the ocean’s waves.
Many miles beneath the sea water, there are adventures and sights that we could never ever imagine. As our technologies continue to improve, perhaps more of the ocean’s secrets will be revealed to us.
