What’s the word, surfin’ birds??!! I’m back….I went on a field trip this past Sunday to Mt. Ecclesia. In Oceanside, Ca…..this once thriving center for religious healing is still in operation. Beat up and neglected, it was an interesting place with a weird eerie atmosphere. I’m real sorry that much of what I say in my intro is repeated a bit further into the vid. Anyway….if you’ve never heard of this place, or always wondered what that weird building up on that hill is……I went and checked it out for us. It is home to an order of Christian “mystics” that believe they have the power to heal the sick and the weak using the Christ spirit inside of them. What do you guys think? Is there a secret interpretation of the Bible that offers us mystical powers and/or knowledge?? I attended a simple Sunday service, ate lunch, rapped with some Rosicrucians, wandered around, and snapped some flicks. I don’t know the extent of their rituals…..I didn’t see anything too crazy. I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but I had an interesting day. Come along and check it out!! Thank you guys so much!!————–Matt!
