Sirus A has a white dwarf – Sirus B… By comparing images 7 days apart, it’s moving a lot faster than the background objects. By Sirius on 9/3/15 and by Taurus 7 days later, on 9/10/15. The silver gate is located between the horns of Taurus, the bull. Sirius A, is the brightest star in the night sky, 8.60 light years from Earth, Sirius B is a White Dwarf. It is the fifth closest star system to Earth and contains two of the eight nearest stars to Earth. Sirius is slowly moving closer to Earth and will gradually increase in brightness over the next 60,000 years. In ancient times, the Dog Star’s rising near with the Sun, marked the flooding of the Nile in Egypt. The Greeks associated it with the “dog days” of summer, referring to the period from July 3 to August 11, when the star rises with the Sun.
