Last Days Prophecy Prediction for 2015 explores the new Mayan Calendar prophecy of the end of the world. This time, they’re naming 2015. Based upon the failure of methology, i.e. using the GMT constant for their calculation, those touting the Mayan Calendar believe the almost 3 year miss was a calculation mistake. We’ve heard it before. Can’t predict the end with the Gregorian Calendar. Edgar Whisenant made and adjustment for the same Calendar from 1988 to 1989 and yet failed. Seems to me the problem is with this whole process of futuristic predictive prophecy. For those who are unaware of the text, Matthew 24:3 does not speak of the end of the world, but rather of the end of the Jewish age (aion) which event occurred in 70 AD when Rome sacked Jerusalem. More and more people are beginning to understand that the endtimes are not about the destruction of the planet, but the end of a covenant and the ancient Israel as a covenant people.
