Episode 47 — The Air Force One Tapes
Researcher Bill Kelly discusses the Air Force One tapes recorded on the afternoon of November 22, 1963. Despite the known fact that a complete transcript of these tapes was made available to select journalists, this transcript – and the complete tapes themselves – are not part of the official record, and their whereabouts is unknown. A previously unknown tape surfaced in 2011, supplementing an abridged version released in the 1970s, and it can be assumed that more of this record waits to be discovered.
