Is Jimmy Hoffa in Your Driveway? – Hollywood on the Potomac

As the world awaits the unveiling of yet another set of search results that are rumored to be linked to controversial union boss Jimmy Hoffa and his disappearance, Hollywood on the Potomac decided to dig deep into the Hoffa case.

Hoffa went missing in 1975 from the parking lot of the Machus Red Fox Restaurant in Bloomfield Township, Michigan, just outside Detroit. Hoffa was considered no saint for his work with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, and his connection to organized crime added to the stories about what occurred on the fateful day when he disappeared into thin air. The vanishing act has lead to a wealth of stories about what happened to Hoffa and where he (or his body) ended up…and over the years, the search and rumors have placed Hoffa in backyards, river beds, at the bottom of the sea in a barrel, and some say he’s even buried under Giant’s Stadium in New Jersey.

Investigative journalist and author Dan Moldea, who has written extensively on Hoffa and has been tracking the case for more than 30 years, sat down with Hollywood on the Potomac to lay out the details behind Hoffa’s disappearance and weigh in on the latest scene in Roseville, Michigan where recent tips have drawn investigators into another wild-goose, er…Hoffa chase.
