The screenwriter of You’ve Got Mail shares stories about life, love, sisterhood, movies and family.

Delia Ephron is a best-selling author, journalist, screenwriter and playwright. Her most recent book is Sister Mother Husband Dog (etc.) , a memoir. Screenwriting credits include You’ve Got Mail, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Michael and Hanging Up (based on her novel). She has written fiction, non-fiction, humor (for adults, teens and children), including The Lion Is In and How to Eat Like a Child, which was adapted as a musical for television and subsequently became a theatrical musical for children. Her journalism appears regularly in The New York Times, and has also been in O the Oprah Magazine, Vogue and other publications. She collaborated with her sister Nora Ephron on a play, Love, Loss, and What I Wore, which ran for two years Off Broadway, and has been performed in cities across the US as well as in cities around the world including Paris, Rio de Janeiro and Sydney.
